We 've read on the web that it is difficult to find information about hiking in Italy.
Well this blog is an answer to those people who are willing to walk on the Italian mountains and had struggled on google to find some informations about trails, maps, etc. with no results.
We will speak about Lombardy, that is not all Italy. But it is a beautiful region where you can find a lot of mountains with lots of trails, from the easiest to top level difficulties. We are just in the middle of the Alps.
Lombardy is normally well known abroad because of Milan is laying there. And this city is really far from the idea of nature, clean air and silence. It is a crowded city, traffic jam pack the city all the time, smog is affecting the air and there are just few parks. Well, in just 30 minutes by car from Milan you can find spots which are just the opposite of Milan. And if you drive a little bit longer you will find so beautiful mountains that you will think to be one thousand miles away from Milan.
